I think this Frankenstein made by my girlfriend Barb is one of my favorite Halloween decorations.  Every year I can't wait to add him to our front garden bed - it has become his home each fall since Barb made him many years ago.  She has since moved to Florida and I hope one day she will rekindle her woodworking projects because they were always the best!

Last year I didn't capture the fall colors as much as I would have liked to, so this year I have been telling the kids every week we need to get to the park for some pictures. Well we decided to go this past Friday. The kids and I spent a day with my mom going to Wallace lake and around Berea to all the different stores like THE SHOPPE. Then we went by one of my last places of employment - BBC - also known as The Bread and Butter Company. I worked there until I was 8 1/2 months pregnant with Ryan. Now we go back by there and its a retirement home? I so wanted to peek inside, but didn't.

I really thought today I would have some time to play with some projects I've been thinking about. For one I picked up my Work in Progress Kit yesterday and I can't wait to start playing with it, then I also had a chance to stop at Hollo's today and see if they had any fun things I could create a mini book with - since I'm always drawn to them for some reason?
But as it turned out my day ended up...

To bad it always seems to go by so quickly though.  Today I spent a good part of my day decorating the inside of my house for Halloween and fall.  That meant putting away all the florals I had all over the house and lugging up 6 totes filled with Halloween stuff.  Did I mention it was my favorite time of the year!
