 Ahh, my second 5k... how'd it go?  Well, it was better weather, better running conditions and a lot more hills!  Oh my, I didn't train enough for all those hills, but I kept plugging along.  Early on my ipod quit AGAIN!  It happened at the first marathon too, and I thought it was just a freak thing that happened, but nope apparently something gets jarred when running and shuts it off, so...

I picked up these picture holders the other day at Michael's and had this idea for the kids birthday.
 
I took chipboard and added pictures to both sides, sanded the edges and then 
placed them in the holder.

 then added a few rub ons, stickers and ribbons
 

It was exactly 7am when the then hosts of GOOD MORNING AMERICA Joan Lundon and Charles Gibson exclaimed GOOD MORNING AMERICA that she was born. 
Yet its hard to believe 20 years have gone by...
 
She has had an amazing year with lots of growth (except for her ever shrinking body) from the trials of life.  Has learned a lot, vacationed a lot and excelled in everything she's put her mind to.

We spent the day yesterday with my cousin going through album after album, scrapbook after scrapbook and picture after picture and I cannot begin to tell you how priceless they all were.
Being a scrapbooker, my aunt was so organized with all her photos and albums.... little notes and stories below pictures that were in albums in her beautiful handwriting, so many details both funny and serious she...

I'd have to say this is one of my all time favorite Work in Progress kits!  I used the project kit which included the Cosmo Cricket Garden Variety paper, chipboard, stickers and two alphabets along with Jenni Bowlin papers and journaling cards.
My first thought when I got the kit was a recipe book, and I knew exactly what mini from my stash I was going to use.  {{The maya road chipboard recipe album...

 Early this morning my aunt lost her battle with cancer.  Here we are just a few months ago when she came to celebrate Joel's and my 25th anniversary.
Losing my father, son and now my aunt in the month of February leads me to hate this month!

Got a lot done since being snowed in today!  Really excited about my projects from my Work in Progress kit and getting projects finished up from last weekends crop!
