Zach had his first sleepover (notice all the cans lined up on his desk???) and Chelsea and Ben attended their first graduation party, I think that officially makes it summertime!
 
Plus the fact that we are getting closer to our vacation to the beach!

Our weekend started early when we left for the Columbus zoo on Friday morning before heading over to Ohio State to see the state track meet for qualifications. 
The Columbus zoo is one of my favorites and in the past few years I have been to it more than the Cleveland zoo.  It looks beautiful and each exhibit flows to the next.  Plus there is an awesome aquarium and in this trip we also got to...

What a busy month June will be, with Zach down to his last two days of school a beach vacation planned and birthday's in the month of June we will have a lot going on!

Are you a list maker?  I used to be, but not a paper one, it has to be typed out or on the computer.  I just can't write a list anymore... weird, I know?  but haven't been as good at it lately and I find I'm not getting as much accomplished, maybe its too much time on the computer doing other things... but anyhoo

Looking forward to working in the yard this weekend.

We usually have to wait until at least after Memorial Weekend to begin planting in the yard without having to worry about a frost.  
So today Deb and I went over to Petitti's Garden Center so we could start picking out our plants for our yards.  I usually do red and white and this year decided to do more purple and pinks.
