And I've got to get moving...
Chel went to work at 6:00am this morning and I want to get there and get my groceries before it gets to that crazy busy time.  She said today and tomorrow are the two busiest days at the grocery store and I'm desperately trying to avoid that.
I can't believe there is only 2 days until Christmas!  How did it get here so quickly?  And here I am down to the last days...

Day 22

A reminder that showed up in the mail

After picking up my mom we headed out to Metro to deliver the toys.  There were 5 of us and it still took two trips to get everything into the hospital.  We met with the Childlife specialist and she brought a cart down to help take everything up to the 4th floor.  After we visited for a bit we also went to the 5th floor that took care of my brother Joe.  We brought them a fruit basket and Dr. Pearless...

I have to go pick up circle subs for Joel and Ron to take to some of their customers today, and one for the guys in the shop.  Meet up with Chel and my sister and pick up my mom.  Then we will head down to the hospital.
While I'm picking up the circle subs I'm going to pick up a couple fruit baskets also.  We usually go into the 5th floor ICU and see the staff there who took care of my brother, Joe....

Day 20

Love my Pottery Barn cabinet

Got some wrapping done last night.  I don't know what I was waiting for but it was one of those things I just kept putting off.  Actually I felt like I got a lot done last night, so that was good.
Today I have to work and I'm meeting a friend for lunch.  It's the kids last day of school so Zach is making plans already to head over his friends house tonight.
Tomorrow I'm heading up to Metro...

I haven't written a lot recently about being grateful.  And probably this time of year, more than ever - I find a lot of things to be grateful for.
For the things I do have and not the things I don't have For girlfriends, lots of girlfriends that help me in ways they don't even know. For a daughter who tries to help when she knows I'm going through a rough time.
What more could you want when...
