Off to clean the clubhouse for my friend Lisa and then I have to drop Zach off at his friends.  Chelsea went to work at 6am and Joel by 7am, so I'll come home to an empty house.  Just in time to get it cleaned up and ready to decorate the tree.  Then tonight we are going out with a couple friends.
Last night we had a nice time getting the tree.  I can't believe the same tree farm is still open...

Day 8

Friday December 7th
1.  That I got to spend 5 amazing years with Ryan.  I could have missed the pain, but I'd of had to miss the dance...
2.  That I was able to leave some extra cash as a Random Act of Kindness
3.  That we could go to the same tree farm as we did 15 years ago
4.  Even though my husbands tired, he'll keep doing that "one more thing" that I ask him to get done in the evening

Did I ever tell you the story about our last Christmas tree hunt with Ryan?  Well it inspired me to do what I did today, so here's the story.  We went to get our tree on Ryan's birthday the last Christmas he was with us.  It wasn't planned, it just kind of fell that way.  We did dinner then went for the tree.  While at the tree farm the lady that helped us talked to Ryan and he shared with her...

 On December 7th it is Ryan's birthday.  He would be turning 20... that's just so hard to imagine when I only knew this little boy.
Every year on his birthday I put a poem in our local paper.  This is the poem I wrote several years ago that I used this year.
 
For five years old you did so much
so much for all you knew,
You we're not just a son to me
but my buddy and partner too.

Thursday December 6th
We have an awesome dog who rings the bell when he wants to go  out I can leave work whenever I want to meet a friend for lunch I get to be a part of this awesome design team I got to hear from long lost friends recently My sister and I talk daily I get a lot of time to scrapbook and craft The sun was out today - I like that
