I need to learn more, understand more and change the way I've reacted to it. I am becoming the parent instead of the child. Its a lot to adjust to and changing so quickly. She doesn't see it, even after meeting with doctors who tell her she needs to eat more, she still doesn't see it.... and so its up to us to learn more and take care of her.

I'm going through a lot of changes with my mother and her battle with dementia and my aunt reminded me that it might be a good time to write down the good memories and things about my mom to help me through the rough road ahead. Plus, in trying to spend quality time with her, I think art...

Finally the stars aligned and everything worked in order for me to run my first half marathon of 2012, although Chelsea was unable to do it with me, it was a beautiful and challenging race to be sure!
Once we found the start Chelsea told me she wanted a jumping picture, the guys at the start just shurgged and said, "ya gotta do it now", so I did... and needless to say, I love the picture!...

Looking forward to getting my first half marathon in for 2012 this upcoming weekend.  I've checked the weather and it looks like we're going to have perfect temps and sunshine, lets hope it doesn't change too much over the next few days.
I picked up some new Brooks running shoes, which I instantly fell in love with and have been great in my training.  I look forward to putting some road...
