We are counting down the days until school starts again.  We went through the Jr High again today so that Zach could make sure his locker opened and make a few changes to his schedule.  It brought back memories of my own childhood.  Then we headed over to Applebee's for lunch.  We shared a lot of laughs, especially when Chelsea kept talking about the Jeff Foxworthy jokes from Blue Collar Comedy.

It''s back to school time so we are trying to fit in the last few summer days of fun that we can. Yesterday we went to Hinckley Park and walked around, went on the swings and laughed while making shadow friends. They both had me laughing so hard!

Well here we are going into the 3rd season of Lost and I'm just starting to watch season 1 and I'm already hooked. Luckily I just searched Google to find out that season 2 will be released September 5th so I can try and get caught up before season 3 begins.

I've heard that Springer Spaniels were also referred as "water dogs", but I didn't quite get the reason till we got our dog Shaggy. This dog LOVES water, loves swimming, loves our pool. So much so that it was easy to train him to get out of the pool on his own coming up the ladder. He knows when he goes out on the deck he has to wait for those few words from us "Go Swimming" and once he hears them......

While at first it didn't do much for me. The more I seen and the more I learned, the more I wanted to learn. Right now I am teaching myself through online tutorials, but I've also signed up for a photoshop elements class that begins in the fall. Here is my first crack at a digital layout! I'm pretty happy with my first attempt.

What a good time we had at Ben's graduation party! There was tons of people, food, a DJ and Karaoke and fun! I don't think Lisa sat down the whole evening and the kids had a blast swimming and dancing too!
