Renee is an awesome event/weekend planner as she picks out the best hotels while searching for the best price and best location along with finding out the details that go along with the weekend.

So here I am after over a year of running. Pushing myself further than I ever thought possible and recently on two different runs I wasn't feeling it. I pushed through, but I wasn't feeling it from beginning to end.  And I've signed up for a full marathon this year?  How am I going to do...

We visit Michigan so often we know the route by heart...
and we never fail to have a great time.  Whether its an overnight trip or just the day with this group of gals we always have the best time together and this trip was no different.
This past winter it seems old man winter didn't want us to get together for every trip we planned another snow storm headed our way, in fact, even this last trip...

One little word - Challenge
Joining in on the fun and inspiration of the One little word blog hop was a CHALLENGE in itself for me this month.  It seems I just get to the previous months projects and a new month has begun. But alas I will not lose faith and I will continue on this journey as much as it CHALLENGES me throughout the year.
I loved the homework for March, making us get back to business...

On Sunday I spent the day decorating and cleaning the house.  Getting out my Easter decorations and changing around the furniture a bit.
This included my antique secretary, one of my favorite pieces that I needed my husband to fix so it could stay open.  I called him and explained that I couldn't go any further in cleaning or decorating until he fixed it... so he came home and fixed it :)

Recently my sister and I stopped into the local Archiver's and I FELL IN LOVE with these tags from 7 gypsies! And right when I saw them I knew I wanted to make a mini.
Already starting to plan my letter for mom's day I had an idea.  Why not make a mini book with my thoughts and wishes instead of writing a letter this year?  And the idea began to grow...



then when I came home I found another...

Spring....
Okay what an irony that today is a Spring themed team up and the calendar says spring yet it is snowing outside?

The first sure sign of spring in our yard is the crocuses that come up faithfully year after year and the tulips that were planted last fall begin to shoot up through the ground. I actually get excited when I see them, they verify that it really is spring! Even with the snow...

My second year attending mom's day and what a great time we had.  The girls always do such an amazing job putting this together for the 80 plus mom's that attend.

These friends for life are an amazing bunch! You can see why they are called sisters because they are always there for one another, each a positive role model to the next!

We are counting down to braces removal in our house since Fridays visit to our dentist.  He said next month they will take impressions for his retainer and then....
No more braces for Zach!

I've become so used to seeing him with braces even I can't wait to see that new smile!

I will be sure to capture before and after photos!

Music...

This weeks theme was Music and I couldn't wait to capture Zach in his"element" with music as he played his guitar. He took lessons years ago and now he just teaches himself. Pretty amazing hearing some of the songs coming out of his bedroom as he plays.  
Poor Jill was running without an ipod after hers was stolen! Running without an ipod sometimes is a crime in itself! Thank goodness...
